Mississippi Golf Club is an 18-hole, semi-private course set on 190 acres overlooking the Mississippi River in Appleton, Ontario, just five kilometres east of Carleton Place and 17 minutes from Kanata.

Established in 1915 on the former Patterson Farm, Mississippi is one of the oldest golf clubs in Ontario. The club began as a nine-hole course before a second nine, designed by renowned golf course architect Graham Cooke, was added in 1987. A new Pro Shop followed in 1992, and after the original stone clubhouse was lost to fire in 1997, a modern replacement opened the following spring.

Today, Mississippi is known throughout the region for its natural beauty and exceptional conditioning. The course is a pleasure to walk, welcoming to novice golfers while presenting a genuine challenge to experienced players. With an active membership of approximately 540, we are among the Ottawa Valley's most popular clubs.

Our junior program continues to develop some of the area's brightest young golf talent, and our PGA professionals offer instruction for players of all ages and skill levels.
